INTRODUCTION
1.1.PURPOSE OF THIS DOCUMENT
This Codification Manual describes the process of forming a code to formalize the naming/numbering convention for departments, projects, documents, records and drawings, which will be ud throughout the project.
The main objectives of this manual are to:
▪define a code and scheme that uniquely identifies drawings, documents, records, projects, departments, organizations, disciplines, etc. by assigning them a unique code in order to avoid砍树 any ambiguity and duplication.
▪promote standardization within the project.
▪establish a common understanding for the identification of drawings, documents and records.

SCOPE
The scope of this codification manual is to list the necessary steps to define a complete p
roject codification scheme. The objective is to define a clear, identifiable drawing, document and records naming and numbering convention while at the same time providing an effective tracking mechanism.
The basic principle is that the Electronic Data/Document Management System (EDMS) will contain standard project management filing structures which will be applied to INTERNATIONAL SPECIALIZED HOSPITAL (ISHU) project .
The Codification Manual 百万英文includes:
▪A digital naming for ISHU project contract covering documents, drawings and correspondence and which includes departments, projects, packages, document types, disciplines, ction of works, payment events, etc.
