摘要
本文是一篇翻译实践报告，所翻译材料为英语旅游文本《行走于阿姆斯特丹》（绪论及第一章）。该报告对英语旅游文本中的词汇、句法、语篇及文化方面的特点进行探究。所选的翻译材料以独特的视角描绘了阿姆斯特丹的历史、经济、城市建设、人物、建筑、艺术等方面。
此次翻译实践报告分为四个部分：第一部分为翻译实践任务描述，包括材料来源、选材原因、作者和作品简介；第二部分为翻译过程描述，包括译前准备、翻译过程中需要解决的重难点和译后事项；第三部分为翻译案例分析，是该翻译实践报告的核心部分，笔者根据翻译材料特点选取该文本中的典型例子在词汇、句法、语篇文化层面进行分析。在词汇层面主要分析转换法在翻译时的运用，在句法层面，主要从插入语、定语从句、状语从句和复杂句的角度，分析顺译和逆译等翻译方法在长难句翻译中的运用，在语篇文化层面，主要从衔接与连贯上以及特殊的文化词语进行分析；第四部分为翻译实践总结，概括了笔者在本次翻译实践中的心得与体会。
通过本次翻译实践，笔者既感受到了阿姆斯特丹的文化韵味，又总结并了解了旅游文本的行文特点以及翻译策略。本次实践为以后此类文本的翻译提供参考，是笔者将翻译理论应用于实践的一次重要尝试。

Abstract
This thesis is a translation practical report, and the translation material is lected from Walking Amsterdam (Introduction and Chapter 1).This paper studies the characteristics of lexical, syntactic, textual and cultural levels on English travel texts The lected translation material depicts the history, economy, urban construction, character, architecture, and art of Amsterdam in a unique perspective.
The translation practical report is divided into four parts: The first part is the translation practical task description, including the material source, the reason for the lection, the author and the book introduction; The cond part is the translation process description, including the preparation before translation, key and difficult points that needs to be solved in the translation process. The third part，the core part of this report，is the cas analysis, and it analys typical examples in the lexical, syntactic, textual and cultural level according to the characteristics of the translation text. At the lexical level, conversion method in translation is mainly concerned. At the syntactic level, the construe, rever and other translation methods ud in the long ntences are analyzed from the perspective of parenthesis, attributive claus, adverbial claus and complicated ntences. At the textual and cultural level, cohesion, coherence and special cultural words are studied; the fourth part is the summary of translation practice summing up the feelings and experiences of the author in this
translation practice.
Through this translation practice, the author not only enjoyed the cultural charm of Amsterdam, but also summed up and understood the characteristics of the travel text and translation strategies. It is an important experience for the author to apply translation theory to the practice, providing reference for the future translation of this
