The article constituted by ntences,and ntences is compod of words. First of all to learn English is to learn vocabularies. Learning lexicology cour, morphology impresd me . becau I normally u the root words and affixes approach to recall words.
I am a student of Tongji Medical College. As a medical student, English is very important to us. The reason is scholarly articles and resource is all in English .At the same time, the medical English vocabularies are professional and complex. Even so ,in terms of medical English vocabulary memory ,we can apply morphological method to recall words easily .
So I think the best way to learn English vocabularies is apply morphological root and affixes method to expand vocabularies and memory more. Following I will talk about my views about the linguistic theories (morphological mainly) combined with academic words memories of medical (as a medical student).

Some of the morphological rules can be ud quite freely to form new words. We call them productive morphological rules. We can, for example, add the prefix un- to derived words that have been formed by morphological rules:
un+accept+able
un+think+able
un+touch+able
Such a rule can be stated as:
un+ADJECTIVE=not-ADJECTIVE
Prefix ---- morphemes that occur only before
others, e.g. un-, dis-, anti-, ir-, etc.
Suffix ---- morphemes that occur only after
others, e.g. -ful, -er, -ish, -ness, -able, -tive, tion, etc.

An English word can be divided into three parts: prefix (prefix), root (stem) and the suffix (suffix). In the root word is the prefix of the previous ction. Prefix, you can change the meaning of the word.

Suffix is an important word to extension ,we can often determine a word's part of speech. The following four major categories were to explain some of the common suffixes and their meanings:

Compared with the normal English words,it is regularity and standard in the Morphology.The same type of words with the same prefix and suffix,sach as subject terms, anatomical terms, physiological and pathological ,genetic ,immune, drugs and so on . There are many words in common. Therefore, as long as we know the common prefixes and suffixes ,we can grasp a lot of medical terminology.
