2RULES AND REGULATIONS
2.1Construction requirements
2.1.1Analog telephone device structure
Generally the analog telephone device has structure as follows:
1)Talking unit
Talking unit may consist of:
-handt
-telephone cord
-mouth-piece and ear-piece
-talking circuit
2)Signaling unit
-outgoing signaling: dial button
-incoming signaling bell, speaker, or buzzer
3)Connecting unit所有的关联词语
-terminal cord
-telephone cord
-rotte
4)Housing
Note:
If the analog telephone device structure is not complete as mentioned above, the function of the telephone device may not decrea the comfort and simple ness of the usage.
2.1.2Basic plate
Basic plate was designed to have non-slippery feet which was made from elastic material in order not to damage the surface underneath
2.1.3Handt
Handt has place for mouth-piece and ear-piece which was designed to facilitate maintenance and component repair. The handt device should be designed in order to fill electro-acoustic requirements.

-spiral and elastic
-on the both-end equipped by lock
-during expand condition, the maximum length is 1.5 meters
2.1.5Terminal cord
The maximum length of terminal cord is 1.5 m
2.1.6Bell unit
Bell unit could be a buzzer or bell and could be equipped by a volume adjuster. If the bell unit is a bell, the acoustic characteristic can be en on 2.2
2.1.7Dial unit
a)In the ca the dial unit is dial button, the number placement formation may be placed

b)If the dial unit is a rotary dial, the formation regulation is in recommendation CCITT
Q11 Volume VI figure I/E 161/Q11
2.1.8Hook unit
The hook unit is designed so that can work properly by the weight of the handt or in special ca; the hook unit could be a press-button or a switch-button.
2.2Acoustic bell requirement
The bell unit, may in the form of single or double bell, must generate acoustic sound 60dBSPL (measured from 1 meter far from the bell) if the bell signal given follows operational requirements on 2.3.2.2.
2.3Operational requirements
2.3.1Function
An analog telephone device should work properly (a full-duplex voice communication) with 48V DC power supply, 20mA in current source and with any kind of polarity line.
2.3.2Signaling
二妙丸的功效
1) Outgoing
a)For dial button dialing, a telephone device must provide DTMF signaling
facility to make a connection call to PSTN. The DTMF characteristics
should be bad on electric requirements on 2.5.4.2.
When the telephone device provides DP signaling facility, the electric
requirement characteristics should meet the requirements on 2.5.4.1.
b) For rotary button dialing, a telephone device must meet the electric

characteristic requirements on 2.5.4.1.
2)Incoming
A telephone device when detecting a bell signal, device should respon with
audible or visual indication or both of them. The nding bell signal characteristics
are as follows:
-Source level: 60VAC
-Frequency: 25 Hz
-Ring period: 1 cond
-Line replacement resistance: 1500 ohm
2.4 Facility requirements
For facility requirements, e Appendix-1.
2.5Electric Requirements
2.5.1 Isolation leakage resistance
If Isolation leakage resistance of device in on-hook condition, being measured with 100 VDC, the resistance between cord a (tip) and b (ring), minimum 1 mega Ohm.
2.5.2 Impedance
1) On-hook condition
The minimum AC impedance, using 25 Hz frequency and being measured with 70 VAC,
is 4000 Ohm.
2) Off-hook condition
The maximum DC impedance for telephone device being measured with 48 VDC and
current source 20 mA, is 400 Ohm.
2.5.3 Return loss
Return loss which caud by impairs of device impedance towards network impedance must follow the following rules:
- For frequency 300~600 Hz: ≥ 12 dB.
- For frequency 600~3400 Hz: ≥ 15 dB.
Notes:
The measurement should be done in the following conditions:
- Voltage source: 48 VDC
- Ccurrent source: 20 mA.
- Reference impedance: 600 Ohm (resistive).
- Sending level: -10 dBm and 0 dBm.
2.5.4 Signaling
On nominal voltage -48 VDC and with current source 20 mA, the output-signaling of telephone device should follow the following rules:
1) DP
a) Pul speed: 10 (±1) PPS.
b) Make ratio: 40 (±7) %.
c) Time interval between digits (telephone device that has dial button):
650∼1300 millicond (for nding digits in a queue automatically)
d) Amount of making pul: a pul for digit 1, two puls for digit 2, and so
on, and ten puls for digit 0.
2) DTMF
a) Frequency
Send digits to the PSTN must be combinations of both high frequency and
low frequency with tolerance of ±1.8 % from nominal value of each
frequency (e DTMF table).
