本课程主要聚焦以下内容：
（1）从多种角度概述翻译现象的现有方法；
（2）为学生提供翻译研究中基本概念、研究问题、最重要的趋势；

（3）培养学生对翻译本质的全面而系统的知识体系；
（4）增强学生对翻译现象中各种影响因素的认识；
（5）培养学生翻译理论学习和翻译实践现象认知中的批判思维。
6、预备知识：
本门课程需要《语言学》、《语篇分析》、《文体学》、《中西翻译简史》、《英汉汉英翻译》等课程与体系知识作为支撑。
7、教学目的与要求：
完成本课程后，学生能够：
（1）对翻译学者所关注的关键问题和概念有清晰的认识；
（2）了解该中外不同国家地区以及流派的主要理论观点与发展方向；
（3）批判性地参与当前国内外的翻译理论讨论；
（4）通过文献综述了解各种翻译理论与实践的关系；口吐珠玑
（5）指导学生拟定翻译选题。
