      Reading and sharing stories with your friends is a fun way of learning. Below, you will find some texts to help get you and your classmates started on thinking about the stories in your own lives.
      Do you like interesting stories? What kinds of stories do you like most? Have you ever tried to tell your classmates your favorite stories? Here we have given you some questions that are related to stories. They are open-ended with no right or wrong answers.
      Question 1: Do you like interesting stories?

Meaning: A woman came out of her hou and saw three clever men sitting in her front garden. They all had long white hair.
wi: adj. having or showing good n and judgment, and the ability to understand and decide on the right action.
  eg. I am older and wir after ten years in the business.
      It was very wi to leave when you did.
5. Read the following tale to find out:
find (sth) out : to get some information by asking or studying 探查,了解(情况)
e.g. Have you find out how much the tickets cost?
find (sb) out:to discover that sb has done sth wrong 揭发某人
          e.g. He ud a fal name for years before they found him out.
6. Out of sympathy…  出于同情
e.g. The old man fell and broke his legs. Out of sympathy, many people gave him some money
out of :  1) becau of  e.g. She did it out of spite(恶意,怨恨).
    2)与动词连用,表示从某物里离开 e.g. to get out of the bed 起床
    3)离开(某处),脱离某种情况 e.g. He is out of the country on business. 他到

7. “Is the man of the hou at home?” they asked.
Meaning: “Is the master / host of the hou at home?” they asked.
8. “His name is Wealth,” pointing to one of his friends…
  Meaning:He pointed to one of his friends and said, “ His name is Wealth.”
point to: 指着,指向  e.g. He pointed to the spot where the hou ud to stand.

11. If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would’ve stayed out. But since you invited Love, wherever he goes, we go with him.
Meaning: If you had asked Wealth or Success to come, the other two of us would have remained outside. But as you asked Love to come, it is our usual practice to go with him anywhere he goes.
