Step1 Lead-in

Play a video of a talk show about famous American basketball player, James. He has made a big decision to take his team-building talents back to his hometown, Cleveland.
After that , teacher shares his own experiences about making important decisions with the students, including three periods in his life. Let the students know it’s sometimes not easy to make a decision. Topic：My choice when I was young.
Step2 Pre-reading
Read the title: Should I be allowed to make my own decisions? Students answer this question with Yes or No by raising their hands. Make a survey orally. Get veral ones to give their reasons.
