1.advi和persuade都有‘给……出主意，劝说’的意思。
advi 是动词，劝说（成功与否不确定，不强调）
persuade是动词 含义= 劝说+成功。
persuade sb. to do sth.意为“说服某人做了某事”,强调结果；而advi sb. to do sth.和try to persuade sb. to do sth.意为“劝某人做某事”,强调动作。不涉及劝说的结果有没有成功。
I advid(tried to persuade) him to stop smoking, but he would not listen to me.
我劝说他戒烟，可是他不听我的。
advi经典用法：

advi that 从句(虚拟语气)
Police are advising people to stay at home.
警方告诫民众要留在家里。
I'd advi you not to tell him.

persuade没有虚拟语气用法：
persuaded sb to do sth=persuaded sb into doing和persuaded that从句，都表示“说服+成功”的含义；
try to persuade sb. to do sth和advi sb. to do sth..意为“劝某人做某事”,强调动作，不涉及结果是否成功劝说。
We persuaded her to confess her crime.
我们说服她坦白了她的罪行。
I failed in my attempt to persuade her.惩处的意思
