Objective: 1. To learn bus related words bus. wheel(s), wiper(s), hog driver, babies, parents, people
Steps:
Warm up
清单人生1.The teacher sing the song "The wheels on the bus”
(If the teacher can play an instrument to sing along, that would be perfect. Otherwi, the teacher can sing along with background music in KTV style. Body Ianguage is esntial)
2.Teacher introduces herlf briefly.
Cover and vocabulary周长计算方法
3.Teacher introduces the book briefly and lead the attention to the book cover
4.Talks about the book cover including the objects on the picture, people on the bus and animals around.
5? Take a bus toy model and talks about the parts, "bus. wheel($)-round. wiper(s)?swish, horn-beepT
6.Look at the cover and review the words. Then talks about who are sitting on the bus and learn the words加b/es, parents, people*
7.Flash cards activity to practice the words just learned(needs to be spectfic).
Wrap up
8 Reveal other details on the cover, such as balloon, the water on the ground, the magician and clown, the food basket and intnguer curiosities,
"Where is the bus going?"
"What are people going to do?"
"What happened on the trip?"
Triger the curiosity about the story. Tell the students know the full story will be told next class.
9.Sing the song again and show lyrics on the screen. Ask students to sing along for three times.
