Question: When students graduate some prefer to look for a job in the big cities while others prefer to move to the countryside. Which do you prefer?
The Lure of Big Cities
More opportunities are offered in big cities although the competition is fiercer in comparison to the countryside. Personally, I would prefer to work in big cities despite the competition.
First and foremost, the choice between cities and countryside largely depends on the individual’s personality. Some people thrive in the hustle and bustle of urban life whereas others find the idyllic lifestyle is more to their liking. Secondly, city life is more convenient with the aid of the wide range of facilities: better health rvice, superior education resources and richer varieties when it comes to shopping. Admittedly, the usual complaint r
egarding urban life is the stress at workplaces and the hectic pace of life. Yet, as far as I’m concerned, all of the are compensated by all the excitement and entertainment provided by big cities. Last but not least, for people who are ambitious to attain success, cities are the perfect arena for them to display their talents. And it is undeniable that average salary in cities is considerably higher than that in the countryside.
In sum, I would opt for big cities fundamentally becau I am an urban creature and cannot live without all the comfort brought by the mod cons. (205 words)

If one cannot study one’s favorite major in a prestigious university, is it better to opt for a cond-best university in which one can choo one’s preferred major? In my opinion, it is more important to study what one likes rather than being enrolled in a famous university at the expen of one’s interest.
Admittedly, a prestigious university yields veral advantages when it comes to job hunting. However, the name of the university is not the clincher in determining one’s future career. Perverance and determination contributes greatly to one’s success. And what underlines the two things is an intrinsic penchant for what one studies. On the other hand, if one choos a major one detests merely for the sake of the prestige of the university, it is tantamount to digging a grave for onelf. Just imagine how much enjoym
