PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source makeup method which can hold down wasteful power consumption of a power supply IC 1 and CPU 3 as little as possible until the power supply IC 1 ris fully and it becomes capable of supplying power stably to CPU 3, when CPU 3 shifts from a sleep mode to an operating mode with the input of a signal which indicates the mode switch from a clock 4 to CPU 3 as a trigger.
SOLUTION: At a subquent stage of a power supply 5, a power supply IC 1, FET 2 and CPU 3 are provided. CPU 3, in the control of its own sleep mode relea, is so constituted that it on controls the power supply IC 1 in advance before the predetermined time of the input time bad on the predetermined input time of the signal which indicates the relea of the sleep mode from a clock 4 which is input into CPU 3, and it on controls FET 2 bad on the signal which indicates the relea of the sleep mode.
