摘要：PURPOSE:In two or more distillation columns having different pressure in columns t in parallel in order to purify 1,2-dichloroethane, to contrive to reduce energy, by using purified vapor obtained from the top of a higher pressure column as a heating source for a lower pressure column. CONSTITUTION:Crude 1,2-dichloroethane (EDC for short) containing high-boiling substances obtained by chlorinating ethylene is fed to a first high-boiling column 105 having higher pressure and a cond high-boiling column 106 having lower pressure t in parallel, purified EDC vapor is obtained from the top of the first high-boiling column 105 using steam as a heating source, the vapor is fed to a reboiler 109 for heat recovery and subjected to heat exchange with a bottom solution. The condend purified EDC is partially refluxed and the rest is recovered. Purified EDC vapor distilled from the cond high-boiling column 106 is condend by a condenr 108 and similarly treated. The difference in pressure of the two high-boiling columns is 3-0.1kg/cm<2> (preferably 2-0.5kg/cm<2>). EFFECT:The amount of steam ud can be reduced and decomposition in distillation can be lesned becau high-boiling substances are concentrated at relatively low temperature.
