Chine people couldn't have enough to eat until the late 1970s.Nanyou 2，the rice grown by Yuan Longping,could make 20 percent more than the ordinary rice.The hybrid rice was successfully produced in 1973 and developed in 1976.In the 1980s,he got a number of prizes from the world.China has about 900 million farmers and he himlf did the work of 200 million farmers.Someone said that he totally made ＄560 billion by growing hybrid rice.
