英语和汉语都有着非常丰富的植物词汇,然而由于诸多的因素,英汉植物词的附加意义存在着一定的差异性。英汉语中植物词汇的内涵意义在研究学习中占有重要地位。文章从三个方面展开研究: 第一， 饮料美容英汉语中有着相同的内涵意义的植物词汇; 广州的大学排名第二，英汉语中有着不同的内涵意义的植物词汇; 第三，植物词汇在英汉语中的内涵意义存在缺失, 并在此基础上对植物词汇内涵意义差异的原因进行认知性分析。通过对比分析研究,可以得知植物词汇在任何一种语言中不仅仅代表了植物本身,它还被赋予了文化的特征。文化的差异性已在植物词汇上烙下了深深的文化印记,使其蕴涵着丰富的文化内涵。因此,为了很好地掌握这些词汇,我们需要去理解其中的文化隐喻。

There are abundant vocabularies for plant both in Chine and English. However, for some factors, the connotative meanings of plant words in Chine and English are different, whic
h are of great signification in rearch. The paper does the rearch from the following three aspects: 1) plant terms with similar cultural connotation in English and Chine; 2) plant terms with different cultural connotation in English and Chine; 3) lexical gaps of plant terms in English and Chine. On the basis of the rearch a brief cognitive analysis is conducted on the reasons causing the differences. It can be en clearly through the contrast and analysis of plant terms in the two languages that plant terms in any language are not merely the symbol of that plant, but are characterized with a particular culture. Cultural differences have left a deep cultural marking on plant terms, making the words very rich in cultural connotation. Therefore, it is necessary to understand their cultural connotation in order to have a good command of the words.
