完型填空以故事性较强的记叙文，说明文甚至议论文为载体，以词义考查为主线，强调词汇在句子或篇章中各种语义性的用，考查学生综合运用能力——词汇运用，词义辨析，语境推断，阅读理解能力，上下文逻辑分析。近几年的英语高考中的完型填空题根本很少考查单纯的语法内容，而是测试学生词汇在特语境中的理解，词汇的用法，习惯短语，句型以及上下文逻辑的把握。同时还要注意英家的风俗习惯和文化背景。下面将分项介绍完型填空的解题技巧。
〔一〕词义辨析突破：要求学生在掌握短文中心，明确上下文关系的前提下，能够区分词义
在不同语境中的区别，程度的深浅，词义的以及感情色彩的不同。平时的词汇学习，要注意准确，全方位的掌握单词的词义。例题分析：威海旅游景点
