Particle trajectories were simulated and the concentration at the nozzle exit is obtained by simulating a statistically significant large number of particles. The study takes into consideration the effect of the tapered nozzle inlet angle and the randomness in flow fluctuation and particle size distribution. No published experimental data appear to be available. Validation of predictions is by comparison with experimental data for free air jets.
