【教材分析】本模块第一单元对话的话题是上一模块School Magazine的延续,由Betty为校刊栏目寻找素材而引出Great books的话题。在语法上以一般现在时被动语态为主,这是学生们第一次感知、体验并全面系统地学习被动语态这个新语法的起点。
【教学目标】
1. 知识目标:能正确理解并使用下列单词works, influence, thinker, thought, wi, copy, monthly, literature词组和句子What’s up? as far as , not …any more , millions of
营销策略分析 It’ a pity. Sounds like a good idea! /We’re still influenced by his thought. /He isn’t known as a great thinker like…/That’s what makes …,等。 体验一般现在时的被动语态的语意和构成。
2. 技能目标:掌握一般现在时的被动语态的用法。
3. 情感目标:通过对话学习,对孔子、莎士比亚、马克·吐温这三位伟大的人物有基本的认识,在交流中鼓励不同层次的学生敢于发表自己的观点。
【教学重难点】: 一般现在时的被动语态的用法
【教学过程】
一、[课前朗读]根据音标读出单词works, influence, thinker, thought, wi, copy, monthly, literature并了解汉语意思,养成学生自主学习词汇的习惯,促进学生迅速进入学习状态。
(二)朗读单词,注意发音
二、[情境导入]
标题导入:“Recently I’ve read a great book called Romeo and Juliet. I’m deeply moved by it. Have you ever read some great books?” 随即将第2模块的标题 “Great books”呈现在黑龙字图片
板上,鼓励学生说出他们读过的名著。
这里用学生们熟悉的话题导入新课,能够激发学生学习的兴趣,活跃课堂气氛,更重要的是通过老师的表述,如运用重读、稍慢的语速等方式强调被动语态的句子,让学生们在真实的语境中感知被动语态。
三、小听力(自主完成,合作质疑)
听activity2,展示三幅图片,问“Who are they? Do you know something about them? Try to u the words in the table to help you.”,学生们两人一组描述图片,之后,听磁带看学生们的匹配是否与所听到的一致。

八、诵读积累
(一)跟录音机朗读对话,模仿语音语调。为了让学生模仿地道的语音语调,培养学生的语感,对文章有进一步的了解,跟磁带朗读,在朗读前提醒学生注意一般现在时被动语态、气群和意群的断句,这一步完成了技能目标中的“读”,即在跟读中体用正确的语音、语调,学会断句。
