摘要：PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibility of decreasing the transmission quantity of light owing to the staining of a lens end face by reducing diametrally a holder by the force of a pressurizing mechanism thereby gripping the lens. CONSTITUTION:The lens holder 8 is pressurized by the pressurizing force of a pressurizing mechanism including sleeve screws 12 to grip the lens 4 by said holder. More specifically, the pressurizing mechanism is constituted of a convergent taper face 8c provided to the outside periphery at the top end of the lens holder, a tapered hole 11a of a cord holder 11 dispod to face said face and the sleeve screw 12 of which the top end is presd to the collar of a ferrule. The top end of the lens holder is radially pressurized by the engaging effect of the tapered surface 8c and the tapered hole 11a when the holder 8 is pushed forward via the ferrule by the thrust of the screw 12. The inside diameter of the hole 8a is thereby reduced and the lens 4 is gripped.
