摘要：PURPOSE:To aim at greatly enhancing the toughness of a packing material for aled ctions in a fluid machine, by laminating flexible graphite sheets cut by a length less than 5mm, and reinforcing fibers or a foil one upon another, and by covering the outer surface thus laminated body with fibers. CONSTITUTION:A flexible graphite sheet 1 having a thickness of about 0.38mm is cut by a width of, for example, 3mm to obtain four pieces, and one reinforcing fiber 2 made of inconel and having a diameter of about蒲公英叶子图片
0.15mm is laminated or interpod between two vertically adjacent layers so as to form a core 3. This core 3 is covered with inconel fibers having a diameter of about 0.1mm by knit braiding so as to obtain a braided yarn 4. Using, for example, eight of the braided yarns 4, the yarns 4 are braided by 8-beat square braiding so as to form a cord-like material 5 which is then impregnated with a clogging material such as, silicone oil, flaky graphite, rubber group adhesive or the like. Thus, it is possible to enhance the toughness of a packing material so as to easily and surely form a cord-like material which is ud as a grand packing.
