Edit Mode
This prents the proof in continuous scroll to review and make corrections. By default, you are in this mode.

Proof Mode
This prents your article as a PDF proof (rembling how the article will appear in print) incorporating the changes you have made in edit mode.

Article
This contains the main content of the proof. Here you can:
Edit or style the text directly like with a familiar word processor
Indicate comment on image using annotation tools or provide alternate image
Edit the table text directly and format the table using the table editor
Edit equations using WYSIWYG/LaTeX editor
Edit references, funding information and author information using advanced editing tools

Article Navigation
This allows you to navigate through main and supplementary content of the proof by ction, by figure or by table.

Queries
This contains queries from the publisher. Provide reply to the queries. You cannot submit your proof without answering all the queries.

Citations, References & Footnotes
This prents the References, Figures, Tables, Equations, and Footnotes that are ud in the proof. As the References are restricted from editing directly in the proof the advanced editing tools here aids you to:
Add a new reference
Edit or delete a reference
Add or delete reference citation
Add or delete citations of Figures, Tables, Equations, and Footnotes.

Edit Log
This lists all the corrections made in the proof. Here you can:
View the correction by actor.
Click on the corrections to view the relevant location in the proof.
Accept/Reject corrections from copy editor.

Session Report
This allows you to download a record of your actions on the content at any time before you log out. A consolidated ssion report in PDF format is also e-mailed to you once you submit the proof.

Video Tutorials
This provides you the video tutorials on how to proof your article using Proof Central.

Save
This allows you to save your changes so that you can clo the link and can continue proofing again by reopening the link. Your changes are also auto-saved regularly.

Submit
Once you have completed your review you can return the corrected proof to Elvier by clicking the “Submit” button. After submitting your proof, you can still e your proof corrections, but you will not be able to make additional corrections anymore.
