养成良好的答题习惯，是决定高考英语成败的决定性因素之一。做题前，要认真阅读题目要求、题干和选项，并对答案内容作出合理预测;答题时，切忌跟着感觉走，最好按照题目序号来做，不会的或存在疑问的，要做好标记，要善于发现，找到题目的题眼所在，规范答题，书写工整;答题完毕时，要认真检查，查漏补缺，纠正错误。总之，在最后的复习阶段，学生们不要加大练习量。在这个时候，学生要尽快找到适合自己的答题方式，最重要的是以平常心去面对考试。英语最后的复习要树立信心，考试的时候遇到难题要想“别人也难”，遇到容易的则要想“细心审题”。越到最后，考生越要回归基础，单词最好再梳理一遍，这样有利于提高阅读理解的效率。另附高考复习方法和考前30天冲刺复习方法。

写法指导

（新闻）媒体报道涉及的范文比较广，话题也比较多，一般指一个大事件或突发事件。其话题包括business, celebrity（名人）,economy, fashion, politics, sports, international affairs（国际大事件）,school life, culture, science，anecdote（趣闻轶事）等。

而对于高中学生涉及的媒体报道写作一般包括两类。第一类，对学校开展的一次重大活动进行报道，并且多为娱乐、文体活动，如：学校校内或校际比赛、交流活动和校际学校访问活动等；校外拓展活动（郊游或志愿者活动）；学校或班级举行的庆祝活动（教师节）等。

第二类，对一次特大自然灾害进行媒体报道，如：水灾、火灾、旱灾、地震等等。

（新闻）媒体报道是对新近发生的事件的报道，因此应注意以下事项：

1. 内容安排：每则新闻在结构上一般包括：标题、导语、主体、背景和结语五部分。因此，学校活动报道的内容应包括：标题（书信例外）、活动的目的、涉及的人员（参与人员和组织人员）、活动发生的时间和地点、活动开展过程及结果、报道者的评价或感受。自然灾害报道的内容包括：标题、灾害发生的时间、地点、起因、经过（灾情及振救过程的描述）和结果（灾害造成的重大损失和灾后安排等）以及结语。主体时态为一般过去时态。

2. 语言特征：真、实、强、短、快、活。即，语言要具体、准确、简明、通俗和生动。

3. 灾难的发生（The occurrence of the disaster）

（1）An earthquake hit/ struck西瓜功效 Yunnan province. 云南发生了一次地震或一次地震袭击了云南。

（2）An earthquake occurred in Yunnan province.

（3）The worst hurricane disaster of all time occurred on the 8th September of 1900 in Galveston, Texas. Winds of 200 kilometers per hour and five meter high waves hit the city.

（7）break out vi.爆发，突然发生

A big forest fire broke out in the southwest in Victoria Australia on October 2nd.

10月2日，澳大利亚的维多利亚西南部发生了一场森林大火。

The Second World War broke out in September 1939. 1939年9月爆发了第二次世界大战。

注意：hit 和strike意思为袭击，是及物动词，可以用于主动和被动语态，后面直接接地点名词。但是occur, happen和take place意思为 “发生”，“erupt”和“break out”意思为“(突然)爆发”，都是不及物动词或动词短语，无被动形式，其后不能直接接地点名词。若要表示发生在某地，则在地点名词前加相应的介词，如 “in Yunnan province”.

（8）catch fire：着火(指自然着火，无被动结构)

be on fire：着火(指状态)

cau fire：起火(引起火灾)

t fire to sth. / t sth. on fire：(指人为的)放火，纵火

The store caught fire at 5:00 this morning, and it was on fire for nearly half an hour. Nobody knows what caud the fire or who t it on fire / t fire to it.

4. 严重的后果/影响（Bad effects）
