2. Defining Owned Brand Packaging at Target
Owned Brand Packaging is the package that supports Target’s owned brand strategy. This includes graphics and structure. It drives brand consistency and quality through utilization of Target approved global packaging resources and incorporation of the packaging development and production.

3. International Packaging Management Group (IPMG) Packaging Process
Target has worked hard to build a network of trusted packaging experts that are located across multiple regions and our expectation is that our business partners or vendors will work with the IPMG’s as they would any other Packaging company. In the current IPMG process Target Business partners will be responsible to manage all details of working with an IPMG.
IPMG’s are a lect group of Target approved globally integrated Packaging Producers and Project Managers. They are centrally located and provide the following rvices:
o Global packaging development and production
o Experti of Target specification guidelines for paper, ink and process
o Press checks
o Shipping logistics
o Inventory control
o Packaging engineering
o Material experti
o Mock ups and Rapid prototyping
o Development of specifications
o Dielines
o Style guides
o Materials

IPMG Packaging Process
Three Phas in Packaging Process:

Vendor works with certified supplier to develop package dielines and mockups for POG submission, Target approval and transit testing
o Vendors are required to provide one color mockup and five white box mockups for each sku during
the packaging development stage.
o The color mockup is ud to submit to Target for POG needs
o The white box mockups are ud to check dieline fit and trim and also for transit testing if needed.

Final product vendors are lected by Target and lected vendor submits dielines to Target at – e POL for full dieline submission details and requirements.
