摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain a cosmetic raw material, capable of being blended even in oily color cosmetics, etc., and improved in problems such as dispersibility and aggregation by coating particles of a cosmetic powder raw material with a conchiolin hydrolyzate. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic raw material obtained by adding 0.01-5wt.% conchiolin hydrolyzate to particle surfaces of at least one cosmetic powder raw material lected from titanium oxide, talc, zinc oxide, magnesium carbonate, ricite, red iron oxide, etc., as necessary, adding purified water thereto, stirring the resultant mixture, drying the particle surfaces and coating the surfaces therewith. The obtained cosmetic raw material is blended with makeup cream, face powder, etc., to improve safety, extensibility, stickiness and adhesion of the cosmetics and moisten the skin. Although the conchiolin hydrolyzate is soluble in water, the coated powder can be blended with oily color cosmetics to improve dispersibility of the powder in water-bad cosmetics by hydrophilicity of the particle surfaces.
