remain是连系动词,不用于被动语态,也不用其过去分词形式作定语或状语等成分。当表示“剩余的,剩下的”时,常把remaining放在被修饰词之前作前置定语,而left常放在被修饰词之后作后置定语。

动词不定式主动表被动的情况:
(1)不定式修饰作表语和宾语补足语的形容词时(即主语+系动词+形容词+不定式;主语+谓语+宾语+形容词+不定式)。常用于此结构的形容词: difficult,easy,comfortable,convenient,hard,cheap,expensive等。
(2)不定式作定语,放在被修饰词的后面,与前面被修饰的名词或代词有动宾关系,又与句子中的另一名词或代词有主谓关系,不定式要用主动表被动含义。
(3)“主语+be+too+形容词+to do”和“主语+be+ 形容词+enough to do”,在这两个结构中不定式与句子的主语构成动宾关系,其中的不定式主动表被动。
