Preface
The earth has evolved one year and it is time to prent our new edition of the“Directory of Geoscience Organizations of the World”,and it is a pleasure to record our appreciation to many of the urs who took the trouble to nd us corrections and new additions to the data of the previous year.Such cooperation enables us to maintain our standard of accuracy and to update the information.
It also was a very pleasant surpri to e a clau introducing our Directory appear for concutive veral months in the IUGS E-Bulletin which disminated the information far and wide,we are very grateful indeed to the editors of the Bulletin.
We will continue to make efforts to improve this Directory and we ask for your continuing cooperation, thank you very much.
