The razor head 2 compris an inner blade 7, an outer blade 8 that circumscribes the inner blade 7, an outer blade holder 31 that holds the outer blade 8, and a hair chip chamber R that stores hair chips cut by the inner blade 7 or bum. The body ca 1 is provided with a switch 6 that actuates a motor 3 for driving the inner blade 7. The surface of at least one of the inner blade 7, the outer blade 8, and the outer blade holder 31 is coated with a visible light responsive photocatalyst 10.
