近日,笔者有幸观摩了2020年12月南京市优质课赛课一等奖第一名获得者卢山老师执教的《跟上兔子》绘本Roy ’s Maple Syrup Festival 和译林版《英语》五(下)Unit 7Chine festivals Story time 部分结合的课。卢山老师精妙的教学设计,让笔者受益匪浅,特别是她的课堂十分重视对学生学习方法的指导。下面结合卢老师的课,谈谈自己的感悟。
一、直入主题,激活旧知【教学回顾】1.Warming-up
T:Let ’s listen to a chant about twelve months.Plea say the names of twelve months.

【教学赏析】卢老师在课前通过十二个月的歌曲帮助学生复习了月份的英文表达方式,简单却有效地帮助学生掌握了十二个月份的英文表达。接着直入主题festivals ,通过问学生知道有关于节日的哪些内容,有效激活了学生原有的认知,让学生分享自己的旧知,从而为新知的学习打下基础。
二、复习绘本,提炼导图【教学回顾】
T:Look,what festival is it?Do you remember this
one?(出示《跟上兔子》绘本Roy ’s Maple Syrup Festival 的封面)
Ss:It ’s the Maple Syrup Festival.T:Do we celebrate it in China?Ss:No.

【教学赏析】卢老师将绘本的导言部分的思维导图挖掘出来,使这个思维导图成为贯穿整节课的主线,为接下来的Story time板块的教学埋下伏笔、做了铺垫。教师找出When,Activities和Special food这三个点让学生去回顾整个绘本的重点内容,使复习更加高效。
三、活用导图,自学新知
幼教【教学回顾】
1.Let’s watch
T:You know a lot about the Maple Syrup festival. Today,we’re going to learn more festivals.What festivals are in the story?
Ss:The Spring Festival,the Dragon Boat Festival,the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Double Ninth Festival. T:Are they also western festivals?
Ss:No,they’re Chine festivals.
T:So today we’re going to learn Unit7Chine festivals.Look,we ud this mind map to learn about the Maple Syrup Festival.Today,we’re going to u it again to talk about the Chine festivals.

A.根据发音规则尝试拼读,根据图片或上下文猜测意思;
B.组内成员互相请教。
The Dragon Boat Festival请一组同学进行分享,之后教师针对端午节的特色食物进行拓展。T:They know about the Dragon Boat Festival. What about you?Let’s check.When is it?
S1:It’s in May or June.
T:What do they eat?
S2:They eat rice dumplings.
T:What about you?What do you eat at the Dragon Boat Festival?
Students share with us.
T:In Nanjing,we often eat Five Red Food(五红). They are salted duck egg,crayfish,roast duck,edible amaranth and yellow croaker(见图3).

The Mid-Autumn Festival请一组同学进行分享,之后教师对中秋节的寓意进行拓展。
T:Here are three kinds of moon.They are waning moon,half moon and full moon.Which moon can you e at the Mid-Autumn Festival?
S1:Full moon.
T:Look at the full moon.It looks like moon cakes.What do you think of it?
S2:Round.
S3:Full.
T:“Round”means“圆”.“Full”means“满”. That’s why we watch the full moon(见图4)

The Double Ninth Festival请一组同学进行分享,之后教师以“这个节日是为谁的”这个点进行拓展。T:This festival is for whom?糯米肉丸子怎么做
跳跃的青蛙Ss:For old people.
T:Why?
S1:Nine has the same sound as the Chine character“久”.It means“长长久久”.That’s a wish for old people.
S2:Hope that they can live long.

5.Enjoy reading
T:Now you know a lot about Chine festivals.It’s time to read the whole story.Before reading the stor
y,I prepared two kinds of music.Which one is better to be the background music?Plea listen and choo.教师给学生听两段音乐,一段是“Jingle bells”,一段是中国的古典音乐,让学生选择合适的背景音乐。
Ss:B.The Chine classical music.
T:A is about Christmas.So it’s for western culture.B is Chine music.It’s for Chine festivals. Ss read together with the music B.
【教学赏析】真正的阅读教学应该是让学生通过当天的学习逐步掌握并积累有效的阅读学习方法和策略,加强语言知识,以便今后更好地阅读和学习其他文章(程晓堂,2014)。对于已学内容的归纳和总结是学生
是否掌握所学知识的重要标准之一,若能将归纳和总
结的阅读方法运用到其他知识的学习中,提炼相关阅
读素材的语言知识,则实现了课内外语言知识、方法技
能的融会贯通。在进行文本教学的时候,卢老师巧妙地
综合运用了视听输入、整体阅读输入、分段阅读输入和
合作阅读输入等多种学习方式进行教学,教学模式丰
富多样,丰厚了学生的阅读体验。卢老师首先通过视听
输入的方式,让学生找出文中提到了哪几个节日,并教
授了这几个节日的读法。接着教师利用这节课一开始
提到的绘本中的思维导图,引导学生自读课文去寻找
文中提到了哪几个方面,即when,activities,special,这
是整体阅读输入。紧接着进行分段阅读输入。这里以第
一段春节的教学为例,以听的方式让学生找这几个方
面答案的关键词。剩下的三个节日教师没有过细地教
学,因为这几个节日都是孩子们熟知的中国传统节日。
教师采用了让学生进行小组合作,以小组为单位,对剩
下的三个节日内容进行小组阅读学习的教学方式。最
后教师对每一个节日都进行了不同方面的拓展:端午
节拓展了特色食物“五红”;中秋节拓展了节日的意义,
是为了追求圆满的含义;重阳节为什么是老人的节日,
是因为“九”的谐音是“久”,是对老年人长命百岁的一
个祝愿。最后,又回到了整体阅读,教师准备了两段不
同类型的音乐,让学生选择哪个音乐更加适合作Story time的背景音乐。在文本教学环节,教师通过整体阅读、分段阅读,最后又回到整体阅读的方式进行教学,
层层递进、环环相扣,让学生在合作中学习了知识,通
过介绍思维导图的学习方法,学生触类旁通、举一反
三,轻松掌握了学习的方法与技巧。
四、拓展源头,追溯根基

T:Today we learned about Chine festivals. They’re the Spring Festival,the Dragon Boat Festival,the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Double Ninth Festival.
Look,we have a Chine festival tree.We have the trunk of a tree.We have branches.We also have some leaves.And we also have some roots under the tree.Just now we have read stories about the festivals. Where can we put them?
Ss:Root.
T:Why?
S1:They are the culture and history of the festivals.
S2:They are the culture of China.
教师播放一段烙上中国印的视频,以《我的中国心》这首歌为背景音乐,介绍了中国的节日习俗已经传播到了世界各地,无论你身处何方都能感觉到浓浓的中国味和身为中国人的自豪感。
T:After watching the video,how do you feel?
S1:I feel very proud.
S2:If I go to other countries to study,I will not be lonely.Becau Chine people and Chine culture are everywhere in the world.
4.Everyday English
Wherever we are,we celebrate the same festival, we come from the same mother land.
教师通过每日英语升华了本课的主旨。
【教学赏析】教师首先通过填空的方式对Story time 的文本进行总结,之后拓展每个节日背后的故事;学生以四人小组为单位,每个人从信封中选择一个故事阅读,之后就“What festival is it?Why do we celebrate it?”这两个问题进行反馈和分享。红色卡片是怪兽“年”的故事,解释了为什么我们要过年;绿色卡片是屈原的故事,解释了端午节是为了纪念伟大的爱国主义诗人屈原;黄色卡片是嫦娥的故事,解释了中秋节是为了和家人团聚;橙色卡片是一首诗《九月九日忆山东兄弟》,解释了人们为什么要过重阳节的原因。
教师和学生一起讨论这些故事应该放在板书中国节日树的哪个位置,学生一致表示应该放在大树的根部,这些节日的背景就像大树的根,正因为有这些文化背景的根,才使得我们有了如此丰富的中国节日。教师最后通过一个有关中国节日的视频激发学生的民族自豪感。整节课的教学在这里达到了主旨的升华,让学生通过溯源培养爱国意识的同时培养了学生的文化品格。
