Donaldson Torit® Unimaster Dust Collector for fluoride handling at the Water Treatment Plant,
be accepted, and further;
THAT the Capital Budget be amended to reflect a transfer of $16,000 from the Variable
Frequency Drive project #05.433.03 to cover the non budgeted expen, and further;
THAT the Capital Budget be amended to reflect the deferral of the Variable Frequency Drive
project #05.433.03 to 2006.

THAT the 2005 funding allocation for economic development rvices to LOWBIC for the 2nd,
3rd, and 4th quarters in the amount of $63,087 be transferred to the City Economic
Development budget.

2. Economic Development Plan – City

RECOMMENDATION:
THAT Council of the City of Kenora hereby approve the position description for the Economic Development Officer; and
THAT the Recruitment Policy guidelines with respect to recruiting and interviewing for the EDO position be suspended and Councillor ____________ be appointed to participate in the interview process; and
THAT funds be transferred from the 2005 LOWBIC budget to cover the costs associated with
the recruitment of an Economic Development Officer and the establishment of an office; and
THAT the Economic Development Officer report through the Operations Department with a direct reporting relationship through the City Planner’s office; and further
THAT governance of the economic development function within the City of Kenora be the responsibility of the Property and Planning Committee.
3. Lea of Municipal Property – 243 Rabbit Lake Road …………………… RECOMMENDATION:
THAT the City of Kenora hereby accepts the proposal of William W. Creighton Youth Services
for the leasing of the office premis be accepted, with the terms and conditions, including the payment of utilities, to be negotiated by the CAO;
And further that the proposal by the Sunt Trail Riders for the garage facility be accepted,
with the terms and conditions, including the payment of utility costs, to be negotiated by the CAO.
4. Acceptance and Naming of Mineault Drive …………………… RECOMMENDATION
THAT the City of Kenora accepts Part 2 on Plan 23R-11132; and
THAT the City of Kenora names Part 2 on Plan 23R-11132 “Mineault Drive”.
