3、 from the bottom up = “从细微末节做起”？
Just as good character comes from the bottom up , so does a good society. This is why the idea, and not the actual policies, of clamping down on anti-social behaviour builds on a genuine insight .
原译：好的品德要 从细微末节做起， 一个良好的社会也是这样。这就是取缔反社会行为的想法（而不是实际政策）在于真正的 自我省悟 的原因所在。
改译：正如良好的品格 要从基础抓起 ，一个良好的社会也是如此。这就是打击反社会行为的想法，而非实际举措，是建立在真正的纪昀简介 洞察力 基础上的原因。
点评：
1、 bottom是“基础win10截屏快捷键”的意思，from the bottom up就是“从基础抓起”，故把0的英语怎么写“从细微末节做起”改为哮喘急救“从基础抓起牛过独木桥打一字”。
2、 insight是“洞察力”的意思，译为“自我省悟”就不对了，美国有家杂志Insight，中文则译成《洞察》。
4、 comes the hour, comes the woman是什么意思？
"It was a time when the economy was a really big story, all hell was breaking loo — reposssions, unemployment, every day we had to write features news stories and do our columns," he said. "She introduced herlf saying she wanted to get into journalism. I thought 'comes the hour, comes the woman' and I hired her."
原译：他说：“当时，经济确实是大新闻，都乱了套了，重新占有啦，失业啦，每天我们都得写新闻特写和专栏。她自我介绍说，她想搞新闻。我想，‘时候一到，女人就来’，这样，我雇用了她。”
改译：他说：“当时，经济确实是重头新闻，到处乱哄哄的，回复产权啦，失业啦，每天我们都得写新闻特写和专栏。她自我介绍说，她想搞新闻。我想，‘她来的正是时候’，这样，我就雇用她了。” 豆角烧茄子的家常做法
点评：
1、(all)hell breaks (或is broken, 或is let)loo意为“大乱起来，闹翻天”。
2、 reposssions译“手工灯笼做法重新占有”不明确，应改为“恢复产权”。
舞厅专用舞曲 3、comes the hours, comes the woman，还有另一种说法，comes the hour,comes the man,意思都一样，在这里可译为“来的正是时候”。
