I have a dream : I want to be a lawyer .
The reason I want to be a lawyer r is I think this profession is very important and meaningful. If I am a lawyer, I will can contribute to maintaining the fairness and justice of society in the form of law:
On one hand, I can take advantage of my experti help mediate peoples conflicts and disputes, so that they can live in harmony.
On the other hand，I can defend Legitimate rights and interests for innocent, avoiding them suffering from some unnecessary injury.

Everyone has a dream. I have a dream too. I want to be a writer just like ZhengYuanjie. Since I was a small kid its been my dream to write books. I like ZhengYuanjie’s books best. I want to write many good books better than his. It is an especially great career for me becau you don’t need special training or knowledge except the power of imagination! And I have plenty of imagination. Writing is a career you can do it everywhere, at home, in the coffee bar, in the parks, ect.

I thought if I was a soldier, I should be able to swim, dive and climb trees as he did. It emed to be very wonderful. So I began to learn swimming, diving and climbing trees. I practiced every day and finally I co
uld do them well. But when I entered junior high school and had themilitarytraining. I suddenly found that being a soldier was very difficult and I wasnt strong enough tobearit. I had to give my dream up.
当我还是一个顽皮的孩子的时候，也许是受到电影《小兵张嘎》的影响，我梦想着成为一名像张嘎那样的。我想如果我是一名，那我就会像他那样会游泳、潜水、爬树。那样该多好啊。所以我开始学习游泳、跳水、爬树。我每天都练习，终于我做到了。后来，我升初中的时候，参加了军训。我突然发现当是非常困难的，我还不够强大到能适应。我不得不放弃我的梦想。
But I wasntdiscouraged, and I had a newaim, which was to be a postman, or rather to be a newspaper boy. As a newspaper boy. I could speed along streets on a bike and throw newspapers onto everyporch. Thats also very cool. So I started learning to ride a bicycle. After the everyday practice, I could go very fast by bicycle. But to my disappointment, the job which I wanted onlyexistedin western counties not in China, becau there was no porch in China. And Chine postmen had to stuff very thick newspapers into very small
mailboxes from very narrow entrances. The job was far from what I had expected. So once again my dream fell through.
但是，我还是没有泄气，我有了一个新的目标，就是当一名邮差，哪怕是一个报童也可以。如果我成为一个报童，我可以骑车在街道上飞驰把报纸扔在每一户门廊前。这是件多么酷的事。于是，我开始学起了骑车。经过每天的练习，我可以骑得很快了。但令我失望的是，我想要的那份工作只有西方国家才有，而中国是没有的，因为中国家庭是没有门廊的。而中国的邮差不得不将一摞很厚的报纸从非常窄的口子投进很小的邮箱里。这样的工作与我的想象天差地别。所以我的梦想再一次破灭。
Perhaps you have had the same experience as I and most of your dreams havent come true yet. But I think it doesnt matter, becau if you have a dream, youll make many efforts to realize it. This cour is really important. If I hadnt dreamt of being a soldier or a newspaper boy. I wouldnt have learned to swim, to dive, to climb trees or to ride a bicycle. Even if our dream cant come true, youll learn much from the efforts you have made. So what I want to tell you is that dream helps us to grow up and teaches us how to control our lives. It is dream that gives us power and makes our lives colorful.
