My activity is uncommon for young men of my own age.It is gymnastics.Gymnastics has taught me lf-discipline and given me confidence.
The sport of gymnastics is very time-consuming.I work out between 17 and 20 hours a week, not to mention the two hours it takes to drive to and from my gym every day.
Some would think such a time-consuming sport would harm my schoolwork.一暴十寒Instead,it gives my life a n of urgency that not only caus me to spend more time on homework, but also helps me with time management skills and aids me in the composition of quality work in a shorter span of time. Also, the hard work involved in gymnastics is reflected in my schoolwork becau it puts me in a mindt to work to the best of my ability.
Gymnastics has taught me that hard work and devotion are not always greeted with immediate rewards.Last year I was at a new level of gymnastics.I worked hard all ason, but received few awards.I learned that although I didn’t receive many prizes, trying my best was indeed important.Sometimes in the workplace hard work is also not rewarded. With the proper mindt, however, knowing that the job was done well would be enough of a reward for me.
To be successful in school, intelligence and hard work will get one very far.To be successful in the workplace, one must also have maturity, confidence and discipline.Few activities teach the better than gymnastics.
In gymnastics,I often cannot perform a skill either becau of fear or becau I am just not physically able.Although I may feel unhappy for a while,I have learned to be resilient(有适应力的) by being energetic in my schoolwork and gymnastics, and taking pride in mylf and putting mylf in a good mindt.Although I will lo my ability to do gymnastics as I age,I will never forget the life lessons this sport has taught me.
