Abstract：Inordertoimprovetheaccuracyoffruittyperecognition,anidentificationalgorithm badon Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)combined with BP neural network was propod.In the early stages of the algorithm,for the different,kinds of fruit,image samples,the K-means clustering gmentation algo-rithmisudtofuthecolorinformationandthegrayinformationtocompletetheaccurategmentation of the target,image.Then,the non-uniformly quantized color features of the target,area under the HSV colorspaceareextracted.Itusthelocalbinarypa t ernandgraylevelco-occurrencematrixtoextractlo-caland globaltexturefeaturesrespectively,optimizesthe BP neuralnetwork combined with particle swarm optimization(PSO)toobtaintheoptimalBPneuralnetworksynapticweightsandbias,andus Matlab2017bsoftwaretoextractthelocalandovera l textureinformationofthethreefruitimagesofap-ple,strawberry,andlemon withtheblock LBPoperatorand GLCM methodatthesametime.Thenit comparest
herelativeerrorsofthetestsamplesobtainedbythetraditionalPSO-BPneuralnetwork,IPSO-BPneuralnetworkandsingleBPneuralnetwork.Therearchshowsthatthegmentatione f iciencyand capacityofdiscernmentofthestandardPSO-BPalgorithmisnotasgoodastheresultsofdeeplearning, buttherecognitionrateofthethreefruitsbytheoptimizedPSO-BPissuperiortotheresultsoftheRCNN riesandtheSSDalgorithmcombinedwithResNet.Thealgorithmensurestheintegrityoftheimageg-mentationtarget,e f ectivelycontrolsthetimelinessoftheovera l algorithm,andimprovestheaccuracyof therecognitionprocess.Thisrearchplaysanimportantroleinimprovingtheaccuracyoffruitrecognition.
