1.SCOPE
The purpo of this document is to rule the inspection co-ordination procedures and establish responsibility for the veral stages of the inspections rvices sub contracted by all Quality Divisions of Sonae Distribuição to External Inspections Entities.
1.1.PRODUCTS SCOPE
All type of products commercialized in Sonae stores, including non food products, electric and electronic products, textile and shoes products, sports products, construction products, medical and health products, food products.
2.INSPECTIONS METHOD
Our inspections are conducted on samples lected at random according to the international inspection method ISO 2859-1 equivalent to MIL-STD 105 E or ANSI/ASQC Z 1.4 2003 or another inspection method appropriate for the product involved. The sampling plan applied to inspections is Level II.
The following inspections could be applied to the orders:
I.INITIAL PRODUCTION CHECK (IPC): Inspection at an early stage of production when the first batch of articles
has been produced to ascertain conformity to basic product specification. Deviations is notified for correction. II.DURING PRODUCTION CHECK (DUPRO): Mid- inspection to ascertain that initial discrepancies have been rectified and to check the average quality standard of the available production
III.FINAL RANDOM INSPECTION (FRI): inspection at end of production before shipment when at least 100% of products are finished and 80% of the consignment is finally packed.
IV.LOADING SUPERVISION (LS): when products are shipped in containers, the inspection cover the stuffing of the container.
剪刀手爱德华结局V.RE-INSPECTION (RE-FRI): inspection performed according Sonae request to ascertain that non conformities detected during previous inspections have been rectified.
For Functional and Safety Tests performed during inspections, the sampling plan applied is Special S-3. Depending on inspection results goods will be Accepted or Refud total or partially, according non conformities detected.

•For Critical Defects: AQL = 0 (nil)
•For Major Defects: AQL = 2,5
•For Minor Defects: AQL = 4,0
3.RESPONSABILITIES

3.1.SONAE QUALITY DIVISION WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
a)Provide the appropriate documentation to Inspection Entity to perform the required rvice:
a.1.Supplier profile form;
a.2.Purcha order.
b)Decide corrective measures in ca of changes on inspection plan previous informed by Inspection entity.
c)Approval of quotation for each inspection requested.
d)Approval of reference samples for inspection.
玩色e)Approval and decision of all inspections reports after receive inspection report.
f)Authorize the issue of Inspection Certificate.
3.2.INSPECTION ENTITY WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
a)Coordinate all inspections requests received from Sonae with the Inspection Entity affiliates in each
country responsible for inspection execution.
b)Submit to Sonae approbation, the quotation for the rvice requested within 48 hours after receive the
inspection rvice request, providing:
b.1.Manday rate;
b.2.Mandays requested for the rvice;
b.3.Detailed expens by type (travel, hotel…).
c)Inform Sonae about inspection plan at least 7 days before inspection date.
d)Inform Sonae and request approval for changes in inspection plan.
e)Not schedule inspections on the last 7 days before shipment date agreed with Sonae or after shipment
date.
f)Contact supplier and collect two t of samples per each item / colour / size.羊肉胡萝卜汤
g)Evaluate that the two t samples are identical and without defects. Inform Sonae about samples
evaluation findings result, issuing a Sample Evaluation Report.
h)Send one sample to Sonae and kept the other sample as reference sample for inspection.
i)Transmit the inspection report by e-mail within 24hours after perform inspection, to Sonae and to supplier,
attaching detailed photos of all items, package, labels, instructions manual and detailed photos of defects.
j)Not perform any inspection without receiving Sonae samples approval and or inspection decision.
k)For all inspections performed accomplish follow points before issue the Inspection Certificate: k.1.The inspection certificate is issued only after receive a formal authorization by e-mail from Sonae;
k.2.Issue only one (1) certificate for each purcha order (PO) inspected;
k.3.Issue the certificate only after the conclusion of all inspections applied to the purcha order inspected.
3.3.SUPPLIER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
a)Give the necessary information and confirmation of inspection planning.
b)Send the required ts of samples 1 week before the schedule inspection date.
c)Having cargo “good for inspection” on agreed dates, at the moment when inspector arrives to inspection

b.1.Condition to perform FRI inspections: 100% of goods finished and 80% packed. Including cartoons

b.2.Condition to perform LS inspection: container available on inspection site
b.3.Have an appropriate space in inspection site to inspect the goods.
b.4.Have a team available to help the manipulation of cartons samples, and to repack the goods after
inspection, in order to inspector clo the cartons inspected with appropriate tape.
d)Pay the re-inspections costs (RE-FRI) to Inspection Entity in ca of cargo rejection due to insufficient
quality.
e)Pay the inspections cost to Inspection Entity in ca of aborted inspections or inspections cancelations in
a period shorter than 3 working days prior to inspection date.
f)Making all documentation relevant for Inspection Certificate issuance available to Inspection Entity.
g)In ca of fresh food products with controlled temperature, supplier must have available 1 datalogger to
put inside each container during the LS. Also the container must be pre-cooled at -18ºC before the LS. Questions or clarifications points should be requested to:
