Fahrenheit is the name of the scale ud in everyday temperature measurement in the United States and some other English-speaking countries. On the Fahrenheit scale, the freezing point of water is 32︒and its boiling point 212︒.
The Celsius or Centigrade scale is ud throughout most of the world. On the Celsius scale, the freezing point of water is 0︒ and its boiling point 100︒.
Notice that zero and decimal numbers are regarded as plural — e.g. zero degrees; 0.3 degrees.
