表彰大会流程摘要：PURPOSE: To maintain the sufficient lateral reinforcement of a floor region being crushable behind the cross-member by installing the rear lateral coupling member of a rear axle support parately in space between a body cross-member and a spare wheel pan and making a side member of this rear axle support a rear end on a body longitudinal member, then lengthening a crushing zone as specified. CONSTITUTION: A body cross-member 48 is parately installed in front of a spare wheel pan 30 so as to cure a free path enlarging a crushing zone for this spare wheel pan or a spare wheel in the traveling direction. Two rear lateral coupling members 36 and 38 of a rear axle support 18 will not come to such an element as conspicuously preventing the deformation of the crushing zone, although they are situated in space between the spare wheel pan 30 and the body cross-member, owing to a flexible ction in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. In connection with a fact that each rear end of two side members 32 and 34 at a more rear region than the lateral coupling members 36 and 38, since the members 36 and 38 of the rear axle support 18 are largely shifted rearward in
particular, the lateral reinforcement of a body rear region is carried out at the same time via the rear axle support 18.
