青椒的功效与作用Tables have been t up in the shape of the cross in the Chapel, complete with the food items of the Jewish Passover, candles etc. The account of the Exodus (redemption) of the Nation of Israel is narrated, and the people gathered participate in the Passover meal and the narration.  We celebrate the Passover Meal every year as a reminder of what is pointing towards – Yeshua’s redemption pathway for all people (Jews & Gentiles) through his accomplishment on the cross … defeating sin & death.
The Old Testament Holy of Holies
The room known as the Holy of Holies was the innermost and most sacred area of the ancient tabernacle of Mos and temple of Jerusalem. The Holy of Holies was寒食节吃什么
constructed as a perfect cube. It contained only the Ark of the Covenant, the symbol of Israel’s special relationship with God. The Holy of Holies was accessible only to the Israelite high priest. Once a year, on Yom Kippur , the Day of Atonement, the high priest was permitted to enter the small, windowless enclosure to burn incen and sprinkle the blood of a sacrificial animal on the mercy at of the Ark.  By doing so, the high priest atoned for his own sins and tho of the people. The Holy of Holies was parated from the rest of the tabernacle/temple by the veil, a huge, heavy drape made of fine linen and blue, purple and scarlet yarn and embroidered with gold cherubim.
God said that He would appear in the Holy of Holies (Leviticus 16:2);  hence, the need for the veil.  There exists a barrier between man and God.  The holiness of God could not be accesd by anyone but the high priest, and then only once a year.  God’s “eyes  are too pure to look on evil” (Habakkuk 1:13), and He can tolerate no sin.  The veil and the elaborate rituals undertaken by the priest were a reminder that man could not carelessly o r irreverently enter God’s awesome prence.
Before the high priest entered the Holy of Holies on the Day of Atonement, he had to wash himlf, put on
special clothing, bring burning incen to let the smoke cover his eyes from a direct view of God, and bring sacrificial blood with him to make atonement for sins (Exodus 28; Hebrews 9:7).
The significance of the Holy of Holies to Christians is found in the events surrounding the crucifixion of Christ.  When Jesus died, an amazing thing happened:
“When Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom” (Matthew 27:50-51a).
The veil was not torn in half by any man.  It was a supernatural event done by the power of God to make a very specific point: becau of the death of Christ on the cross, man was no longer parated from God.
室内团建The Old Testament temple system was made obsolete as the New Covenant was ratified.  No longer would we have to depend on priests to perform once-a-year sacrifices on our behalf.
Christ’s body was “torn” on the cross, just as the veil was torn in the temple, and now we have acces
s to God through Jesus:
“we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body”  (Hebrews 10:19-20).
The once-for-all-time sacrifice of Christ did away with the necessity of yearly sacrifices, which could never take away sins (Hebrews 10:11).
Tho sacrifices were merely a foreshadowing of the perfect sacrifice to come, that of the holy Lamb of God (Yeshua), slain for the sins of the world (John 1:29).
The Holy of Holies, the very prence of God, is now open to all who come to Christ in faith.  Where, before, there was an imposing barrier guarded by cherubim, God has opened a way by the shed blood of His Son.
THE LORD’S SUPPER
Introduction–It was all part of God’s plan from the beginning to break down that middle wall of partition dividing Jews and Gentiles and to make us ONE together in the body of Christ.  So we are all one tonight in HIM … Amen.
Our Christian Passover meal shared tonight may differ slightly from the original Jewish Passover meal that you might have shared elwhere.  That’s OK – we are not under the Jewish Law system!  However, as Gentiles we are partakers in the blessings bestowed upon the nation of Israel.
“For I a m not ashamed of the gospel, becau it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.”  (Rom. 1:16)
And so we are partakers tonight of the blessings of the Jewish people –God’s chon people.  We are the wild olive branches grafted in as Romans 11 says “You do not support the root, but the root supports you.”  (Romans 11:18)
We share together in a rich heritage with the people of Israel, and all that God did to reveal himlf to us, through the ancient fathers of the faith (Abraham, Isaac & Jacob), the prophets and the festivals of Israel.  This now becomes your heritage in Messiah. (Yeshua Ha Meshiah).

THE PASSOVER LAMB:
The Passover is the story of the redemption of the nation of Israel from the bondage and slavery in Egypt, and Jesus us this ancient national story and this ancient feast to proclaim a new covenant,
using the same theme, the offer of redemption, not just to a single nation, but to every person, and to you and to me, who gather here tonight.
The Scriptures say “And the Lord heard our voice.”  As it is said: And God heard their groaning and remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac and with Jacob.
As we have looked at the ancient story, we can e that God has woven into the fabric of this story a far greater redemption story – a picture of the Passover Lamb – Jesus, our Messiah.  Listen to the following scriptures about our Passover Lamb Jesus.
John 1:29 –“On the morrow He saw Jesus (Yeshua) coming unto him, and said, Behold, the Lamb of God, that takes away the sin of the world!”
高矮的矮Isaiah 53:7 –“He was oppresd, yet when He was afflict He opened not his mouth: as a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.”
1 Peter 1:18-19 –“… knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from your vain manner of life handed down from your fathers; but with precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, even the blood of the Messiah.”
Revelation 5:12 –“… saying with a great voice, Worth is the Lamb that has been slain to receive the power and the riches and wisdom and might and honour and glory and blessing.”
Jesus took the rich rituals of the story of Passover and us it to open the eyes of his disciples to a new covenant written in his own blood.  In doing so, he opens our eyes today that he also becomes our Passover Lamb or Paschal Lamb.
Becau we believe in Jesus as our lamb and our Messiah and becau we have in faith applied the blood of the sacrifice to the doorposts of our hearts, when death comes to us (and it inevitably will), death will pass over us also, becau we have eternal life in Christ.  Hallelujah.  (Reference – 1 Thess. 4:13-18)
At a designated point in the Jewish Passover Meal the head (master) of the hou would take 3 pieces of (Matzah) unleavened bread (one whole piece of bread – no leaven / yeast (flat bread) →Even so, the Messiah was unleavened, which is sinless.
It is pierced/spiked → Even so, the Messiah was pierced, that is by the nails in his hands and his feet and by the spear in his side.
It is striped → Even so, the Messiah was striped, that is by way of the Roman whip.
The head/master of the hou would put them into the Matzah TOSH (bag for unleavened bread).  Each piece goes into it’s own parate ction.
The Matzah Tosh reprents Unity (there are 3 compartments).
青铜葵花读后感
Jewish rabbinical teaching suggests various theories of unity that involve: ∙  3 Patriarchs – Abraham, Isaac & Jacob
∙  3 aspects of Worship – Priests, Levites and the people of Israel
找自己歌词But as Christians as we look back through the lens of time to the Passover feast, we believe it reprents the unity of our Triune God – God the Father, Jesus the Son, and his Holy Spirit.
At a particular point in the Passover, the head/master of the Hou takes the middle piece of Matzah (called the “Bread of Affliction”) and BREAKS IT INTO TWO, and wraps the broken piece in a linen bag called the AFIKOMEN (which means ‘it comes later’).  The Greek equivalent word ‘epikomos’ means ‘after-banquet’or literally ‘desrt’.  It is taken outside the room of Celebration to be hidden for a time.  This is really important and the feast cannot be completed without the 2nd piece.
Concerning the breaking of the middle Matzah bread, it is written in Luke 22:19:
“And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave to them, saying, ‘This is my body, which is given for you; do this in remembrance of me.’”
Jesus said in John 6:48-51 –“I am the bread of life.  Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and they died.  This is the bread which came down out of heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.  I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever, and the bread which I give is my flesh, for the life of the world.”
本官Then a huge MEAL is enjoyed (much like the meal we’ve had tonight) – lots of eating and drinking
At end of meal, children go looking for the Afikomen.  Whoever finds it gets a reward (that’s symbolic isn’t it – whoever discovers Jesus, the Bread of Life, is always rewarded).  Then the head/master of the hou continues the feast.  Unwraps the Afikomen and breaks it into pieces for everyone at the feast.  Everyone receives a piece.
Why is the middle piece, broken, buried and brought back?
