Rearch on English Teaching & Aesthetics
Abstract: Aesthetics, as an important part of humanities, has great influences in people’s life. We have the same thing in language teaching especially English teaching. English teaching and aesthetics have a clo relation. A good English teaching, to some extent, should have the elements of aesthetics. In this paper, the relation between English teaching and aesthetics is discusd from the aspects of the teacher, the learner, the teaching material and the teaching atmosphere. Then, ideas of how to make the English teaching more attractive by applying aesthetics are put forward.

Students should be encouraged to appreciate the beauty of English language, literature, and culture. Teaching activities should be designed to integrate language proficiency and knowledge with appreciation of beauty. This way, learners will make progress in their learning while appreciating the beauty of English.

In conclusion, English teaching and aesthetics have a clo relation. The combination of English teaching and aesthetics can make the teaching more attractive and interesting. All the participants in English teaching should realize the importance of aesthetics and maintain a positive attitude towards it. Only in this way, can English teaching become more successful and effective.。
