摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly detect a timing necessary for fetching picture data for discriminating tableware and to always obtain the exact identification of tableware by confirming that any object except a tray is not prent on a stand and starting a processing necessary for discriminating the tableware. SOLUTION: When an object such as arms 9a and 9b of a ur is prent at a part where a picture data fetching line 10 of a stand 7 is t (a), height components 11a and 11b due to the arms 9a and 9b of the ur appear in height information 10B obtained from picture data (b). As a result, at the time of comparing the height information 10B with already stored height, a difference due to the height components 11a and 11b is detected, and it is judged that an object is prent. Then, photographing by a television camera is repeated, and each time picture data are obtained, the height information 10B is fetched, and compared with the already stored height. Afterwards, when any difference 11a or 11b is not detected, the target recognition processing of the tableware is started.
