Do you know where is the red planet?
Mars is sometimes called the red planet.
科学家研究发现，⽕星表⾯的⼟壤中含有⼤量氧化铁，由于长期受紫外线的照射，铁就⽣成了⼀层红⾊和黄⾊的氧化物，也就是氧化铁。
由于⽕星经常发⽣尘暴，氧化铁粉末被吹得遍布⽕星每⼀个⾓落，使⽕星看上去就像⼀个⽣满了锈的世界，在太阳光照射下发出⽕红⾊的光，所以⼈们就形象地称⽕星为 “红⾊⾏星 Red Planet”。
