“This is a beautiful computer,” he says. “Now you can connect to the Internet!”

“Sure,” Li Ming says. “I’d be glad to help you. Let’s turn on the computer.”

Li Ming pushes the “on” button. The computer makes a noi. Wang Mei and Li Ming e a picture of the world. Under the world, they e the word “Internet.”
李明按了一下“开始”按钮，计算机发出响声，王梅和李明看到世界的图片图片下面他们看到了写有“因特网”的文字。
“Choo the world, Wang Mei,” says Li Ming.
“王梅，选择世界这个图标，”李明说。
“There!” says Wang Mei. The computer makes another noi. Then the screen says, “Connection failed. Try again.”

“What does ‘failed’ mean?” asks Wang Mei.
王梅问“‘失败’是什么意思？”
