剑桥雅思4第⼀套题⽬的Section2中有三个单句填空题，这三个题⽬难住了不少同学，做错的很多。五⽉花留学带⼤家⼀起来看⼀下这三题。很多同学做错是因为不会分析题⼲，看不懂题⽬，⼤略地原⽂中听，盲⽬找答案就很容易错，所以考⽣们要学会正确分析题⼲。

很多同学本题的答案写的是minerals、iron，有部分同学是听到了答案但不认识单词所以不会拼写。这个题⽬问Riverside村是开启⼀项产业的好地⽅因为它有⽔、原材料和燃料，例如什么和什么。
看完题⼲同学们⼼⾥要清楚的是：它这题让你填的是两种燃料的名字⽽不是其他，看见such as脑⼦⾥⽴刻想到它的同义词like/for example，题⽬⾥的water、raw materials以及fuels都是定位词。
原⽂说：And it was becau of this fast-flowing water that this site was a natural place for manufacturing works. The water（题⼲定位） and the availability of raw materials（题⼲定位） in the area, like minerals and iron ore（答案写了这两个单词的同学注意，这是原材料的举例，⽽不是题⼲要求你写的fuels的，要继续往后听）, and also the abundance of local fuels（定位词）,like coal and firewood（这⾥有⼀点连读：coal的l和and的a连在⼀起变成了“le”的⾳，听不清楚的多听⼏次录⾳）, all made this site suitable for industry from a very early time. 不认识coal 煤，和firewood ⽊柴的同学请积累，这个单词要连在⼀起写。

这个题⽬错的同学最多，有写了twelfth century的，有很多是直接没听到答案。这题也是这篇最难的⼀个题⽬，因为题⼲部分⼀整句话都作了替换改写，单词基本上全都换了，并且题⼲⽤被动语态出的，友谊地久天长英文
⽽原⽂是主动的形式，先念了答案才出现的定位，导致很多同学错失答案。
我们先分析题⼲，题⽬问⾦属⼯⼚是被建⽴在Riverside村，由住在当地的什么⼈建的，很多同学看完题⽬并不知道这个题是要写⼀类⼈，主要是语法上的问题，横线后⾯who lived in the area提⽰我们这是做定语修饰空⾥⾯的名词，并且名词指的是⼈；还有⼀个重点是题⼲出了被动语态，同学们要学会倒着看题⽬，即把题⽬理解为：住在当地的什么⼈把⼯⼚建⽴在Riverside村，按这个理解去听就⽐较不容易听丢答案；第三个考点是题⼲⾥⾯有“建造、建设”这个概念的，⼀定会出现同义替换词，所以请⼤家熟记以下的所有表达，灵活理解原⽂意思：
tabloid1）主动形式：build=construct=establish=t up=create =the building of=the construction of
2）被动形式：be built=be constructed=be t up=be established=be created
pharma原⽂说：Water was the main source of power for the early industries and some of the water wheels were first established（原词⼲扰，答案写成12世纪⼏乎都是因为听到这个单词，但这个建造的主语是water wheels⽽不是你题⼲⾥的metal industry，⽽且答案要填⼀类⼈⽽不是时间） in the twelfth century, would you believe? At that time, local craftsmen first built an iron forge just behind the village here（这句话是答案所在，说当地的⼯匠⼀开始在村庄这⾥建造了⼀座铁熔炉，以主动语态出现，答案为local craftsmen，注意复数，题⼲⾥的metal industry=原⽂iron forge，同类词替换，was e
stablished=built）, on the bend in the river.
13. There were over ______ water-powered mills in the area in the eighteenth century.
这个题没有前两个题⽬难，问18世纪这个地区有超过多少的⽔⼒⼯⼚。所以这个题⽬要填数字，我之前总结过，看见题⼲中的over，去原⽂中听more than，答案在它后⾯。
原⽂说：By the venteenth and eighteenth（题⼲时间定位词出现）centuries the region’s rivers supported more than a hundred and sixty water mills（答案出现，写成160）…
