【教学内容分析】本单元的主题为Growing Up,本课为单元的第二课时---阅读课。文章的主题是“全美职业篮球联盟中最矮的球员斯巴德·韦伯”,其内容介绍了斯巴德·韦伯虽然身高只有170cm,但是经过刻苦训练和永不放弃的精神最终加入了全美职业联盟并且在全明星大赛中战胜所有对手,成为了NBA历史上最矮的灌篮王。学生们对篮球很熟悉,很容易激发学生们的学习兴趣。通过这篇文章的学习,提高学生的阅读能力,培养努力拼搏,用不放弃的精神。
