⼀、⼀般过去时的概念和⽤法
⼀般过去时表⽰过去某个时间发⽣的动作或存在的状态，常和表⽰过去的时间状语连⽤。⼀般过去时也表⽰过去经常或反复发⽣的动作。
Eg：-What did you do yesterday?
-I met Lin Tao . （过去某个时间发⽣的动作）
I was there a moment ago. （过去某个时间存在的状态）
We often played together when we were children.(过去经常或反复发⽣的动作）
注：表⽰过去经常发⽣的动作还可⽤ud to 。
Eg：He ud to smoke a lot, but he doesn’t now. 他过去经常抽烟，但现在不抽了。
⼆、常⽤于⼀般过去时的时间状语
yesterday, this morning，just, just now, ...ago（a moment ago，3 days ago，2 ), in the past，last night / year / week, once upon a time, the other day，以及时间状语从句中（常⽤引导词:before，after，when，until,as soon as 等）。Eg：It was raining heavily when I left school.
Mr Green didn’t start cooking until his son was back from school last night.

⼀般过去时⽤动词的过去式构成。即⼀般过去时的谓语动词要⽤动词的过去式。动词过去式的构成分规则变化和不规则变化两种形式，不规则变化通常需要逐个记忆，规则变化则遵循
以下原则：
(1)⼀般在动词后加-ed。
如：play—played, offer—offered, weigh—weighed, destroy— destroyed, sign—signed.
(2)在以字母e结尾的动词后，只加-d。
如：like—liked, provide—provided, hate — hated, date—dated。
(3)在以“辅⾳字母+y”结尾的动词后，则改y为i，再加—ed。
如：supply—supplied, fly—flied, study— studied.
(4)在以单短元⾳的重读闭⾳节结尾且，末尾只有⼀个辅⾳字母的动词后，双写最后⼀个辅⾳字母，再加-ed。
如：plan—planned, refer—referred, regret—regretted, ban—banned.

1.带有was或were的句⼦
否定句在was或were后加not。
⼀般疑问句把was或were提前，其他照写。
注意：主语是I/we的句⼦变疑问句时I\we变成you/you。
Eg1:I was ten years old then.
否定句:I wasn’t ten years old then.
⼀般疑问句：Were you ten years then？
肯定回答；Yes，I was. 否定回答；No,I wasn’t.
特殊疑问句：-How old were you then？回答：I was ten years old then.\ -Ten.
Eg2: Tom and his family were in America two years ago.
否定句：Tom and his family weren't in America two years ago.
⼀般疑问句：Were Tom and his family in America two years ago?
肯定回答：Yes,they were. 否定回答：No，they weren’t.
特殊疑问句：Where were Tom and his family two years ago？回答：They were in America.
2.谓语动词为实义动词的句⼦
变否定句时在动词前加didn't，句⼦中的动词过去式变回原形。
变⼀般疑问句时在句⾸加Did，句⼦中的动词过去式变回原形。
Eg：Jim went home yesterday.
否定句：Jim didn't go home yesterday.
⼀般疑问句：Did Jim go home yesterday?
crazy肯定回答：Yes,he did. 否定回答: No,he didn’t.
