2.once 引导条件状语从句和现在分词做状语
【背原句】
Once I stop, it all comes crowding in and I remember the chimps in laboratories.

【微讲解】
(1)once引导条件状语从句，如主句用将来时，则从句用一般时。
(2)若once引导的从句的主语与主句主语一致，且从句中含be动词的某种形式时，可省略从句中的主语和be动词。
(3)动词come后常用running/flying/speeding/dashing/rushing/crashing/pouring等现在分词做方式状语，表伴随状态。

(1)当中心词是序数词或被序数词、形容词最高级、the next、the only、the last等修饰时，常用不定式做后置定语。
(2)动词不定式做定语常用来修饰ability、chance、opportunity、need、way、wish、effort、right、ambition、offer、anxiety、attempt等名词。
