About his life
Lee was born in Atlanta. When he was a child, the family moved to Brooklyn, New York. In Brooklyn, he attended John Dewey High School. Lee enrolled in Morehou College, a historically black college, where he made his first student film, Last Hustle in Brooklyn. Lee
also had three younger siblings Joie, David, and Cinqué, who all worked in many different positions in Lee's films. Director Malcolm D. Lee is his cousin. Lee and his wife, attorney Tonya Lewis, had their first child, daughter Satchel, in December 1994. They also have a son, Jackson, born in 1997.

Black Man vs White Woman
As we all know, Flipper and Angie are the typical characters of black man and white woman in the film.
In the film, Flipper and Angie start an affair with each other by a certain chance, just like both of them are infected with " Jungle fever ". If they have the same skin color and are in the same race, they may not fall into so many problems and face such controversy.
Love vs Curiosity
After watching the film, we may confu that why Flipper and Angie have an affair? Do they really love each other or they just want to pur a feeling of excitement? It ems the answer is the latter. Fundamentally, the cau is curiosity instead of love. Due to the racial barriers in the whole society, people in the different races can hardly associate and love, let alone marry. Therefore, Flipper and Angie in the film both are curious about what the other race is like and then they have x to plea their curiosity.
