If something hits the spot, it is exactly what is wanted or needed. For example, if food hits the spot, it tastes good and makes you feel satisfied. hit the spot表示正好满足了某种需要,“到达了某个点”。在口语中,某样东西能hit the spot,一定是让你感觉很痛快,很过瘾。
