Audi side assist
The task of Audi side assist is to monitor the area behind and to the side of the vehicle using radar nsors, and to assist the driver when changing lane. The monitored area also includes the so-called "blind spot". This is monitored on both the driver and pasnger sides. There is a dedicated radar nsor for each side.If Audi side assist detects a critical situation which could result in an accident were the driver to change lane, the system informs or warns the driver. The driver is informed by intensive flashing of the warning light in the door mirror on the side of the vehicle where the hazard has been detected.
