1.Hello, listening friends.
親愛的朋友，你好，
2.We are always delighted to bring you a new
ries of messages;
很高興今天能夠開始一個新的系列信息；
3.and, today, we’re going to bring you a new
ries entitled, "God Talk,"
這個新的系列，就叫做“上帝說”。
<, we can call it, "What Does God Think
About Himlf?"
或者，“神如何看待祂自己？”
5.Throughout history, there were all kinds of
people who presumed to speak for God.
縱觀歷史，很多人都認为他們是在为神說
話。
6.Some even claimed to be God.
什至有人乾脆宣稱自己是神。
7.but let me ask you this:
可是，我要問你：
8.how do you truly get to know someone?
你怎樣才能真正認識一個人呢？
9.By listening to what that person says about
himlf or herlf.
當然要聽這個人是怎樣介紹他自己的。
10.Right?
對不對？
11.People know you by what you say about
yourlf;
別人認識你是基于你如何看待自己；
12.and this rule applies, particularly, to God.
同樣，想要認識神，也不例外。
13.It is not what I say about God. It is not what
you say about God.
不是聽你如何談論上帝，也不是聽我怎么介紹祂。
14.All we need to know about God is what God
says about Himlf;
而是由神親自來介紹祂自己；15.and that is why I am doing this ries of
messages entitled, "What Does God Say About Himlf."
這就是为什么我們要講“神如何介紹祂自
己”這個系列的原因。
16.God tells us lots of things about Himlf.
神告訴我們許多有關祂自己的事情。
17.We call the the "attributes" of God.
我們稱之为神的“屬性”。
18.Let me give you an example.
比如說，
19.We talk about God’s wisdom, God’s
truthfulness, God’s mercy, God’s grace, God’s
love, God’s wrath, His goodness, His
faithfulness, and on, and on, and on.
我們常提到神的智慧、真實、憐憫、恩典、
慈愛、憤怒、信實、良善等等一切的屬性。
20.The are some of God’s attributes;
這些都是神屬性的一部分；
21.but there’s one thing that God says about
Himlf that controls all His attributes,
然而，上帝告訴我們，有一種屬性決定了其
它一切的屬性。
22.and that is His sovereignty.
那就是神的主權。
23.His sovereignty controls all of His other
attributes.
祂的主權決定了神的所有其它屬性。
24.His absolute authority and rule over His
creation is the axle around which all of His
other attributes revolve.
神其它的屬性都圍繞著神絕對主權這個屬
性，神掌管著世上一切的受造之物。
25.Some of you may be asking, "Why is His
sovereign control the key to all of His other
attributes?"…
也許你會問：为什么神的主權是神其它屬性
的中心呢？”
26.and that’s a good question.
問得好。
27.Most people agree that God is love, right?
大多數人都認为，神就是愛，對不對？28.Even unbelievers believe that God is love.
就連那些不信主的人也是這么想的。
29.Well, if He is not absolutely sovereign,
但，如果神沒有無上的主權，
30.then, some circumstance could occur that
would be outside of His control that could
thwart His love.
如果有什么事情超越了神的主權，那么，神
的愛就可能被阻撓。
31.If He were not absolutely sovereign, then His
love would be conditional;
如果神沒有無上的主權，祂的愛就會變成有
條件的；
32.but the Scripture, from beginning to end, tells
us that His love is unconditional.
然而，整本聖經都告訴我們，神的愛是無條
件的愛。
33.The same thing is true with God’s justice.
同樣，有關神的公義也是如此。
34.If He did not have sovereign control over all
things,
如果神沒有主權掌管一切，
35.His justice could be easily frustrated by Satan
and wicked people,
神的公義就會輕而易舉地被撒但或不法之人
所蹧蹋，
36.and total injustice would rule supreme;
最終導致邪惡的勢力佔了上風；
37.and what a terrible disaster that would be.
其后果將不堪設想。
38.That is why we need to understand the
sovereignty of God.
所以，我們有必要來認識神的主權。
39. A thorough understanding of the sovereignty of
God will give meaning to all of the other
attributes of God;
只有徹底領悟到神的主權，才能夠明白神其
它的屬性；
40.and that is why I’m beginning this ries of
messages with the sovereignty of God.
因此，我以神的主權为題來展開這個新系列
的講座。41.There is one ver that I have committed to
memory early in my life and I hope that you
will memorize it also.
在我很小的時候，曾經背誦了一節經文，盼
望你也能夠記住它：
42.It is found in Ephesians, Chapter 1, ver 11.
是在以弗所書第一章，11節，
43.It says, “God accomplishes all things according
to the counl of His will.”
聖經說：“神隨己意行作萬事。”
44.What does that mean?
什么意思呢？
45.It means that God’s knowledge and power
extend even to the smallest things in the
univer.
就是說，神的知識和能力要遍及宇宙的每一
個角落。
46.It means that, when you brushed your hair this
morning,
當你早上梳頭時，
47.God said, "Hair number 2,555,000, come on
<"
神說：第兩百五十五萬五千根頭髮要掉下
來，
48.and that single hair got caught in your brush.
就是這一根頭髮會落在你的梳子上。
49.It means that God’s power and authority is
above, beyond, beneath and all around.
神的能力和主權是超越諸天、無處不在的。
50.In all of this confusion that surrounds us, God’s
plan stands supreme.
雖然我們身邊的世界混亂含糊，但神的計劃
超越一切，堅定不移。
51.Why?
为什么呢？
52.Becau God accomplishes all things according
to the counl of His own will;
因为神隨著祂自己的意思行作萬事；
53.but someone may be saying, "You mean to say
that we don’t have free will?"
也許有人問：“難道我們人沒有自由意志了
嗎？”
54.Of cour, we have free will;
當然有；
55.but our free will has no power to thwart God’s
sovereignty.
可是，人的自由意志卻不能妨礙神的主權。
56.Tho who choo to reject God’s offer of
forgiveness and eternal life through Jesus
Christ,
那些不接受神藉著耶穌基督所賜饒恕之恩和
永生盼望的人，
57.they bring upon themlves a dark eternity.
他們是自取滅亡。
58.Tho who choo to live without God suffer
the conquences.
那些不要神管理他們生命的人，就會自食其
果。
59.God respects our choices and this is part of His
plan.
神允許我們有選擇的機會，這是祂計劃中的
一部分。
60.Why?
为什么呢？
61.Becau God accomplishes all things according
to the counl of His own will.
因为神隨著祂自己的意思行作萬事；

62.There is one thing you must know about the
Creator of the univer.
關于這位創造宇宙的主宰，有一點你必須要
清楚。
63.He is the sovereign Ruler and King of His
creation.
那就是，祂是所有受造物的統管者和君王。
64.Let me tell you about two fal conclusions that
many people reach about the sovereignty of
God.
人們常常對神的主權有兩種錯覺。
65.On the one hand, some people deny the reality
of God’s supreme rule over all things.
一方面，有些人否認神有超越一切的主權。
66.On the other hand, other people deny the
perfect goodness of God in His governing
authority.
另外一些人則否認神主權的完美性。
67.They say, either, God is not in perfect control,
or, His will is not perfectly good.
他們或許認为，神管不了那么多，或許認为
神不是盡善盡美。
68.Of cour, the are two easy conclusions to
come to when you e evil and suffering in the
world;
如果你只定睛在今生的苦難和邪惡的話，自
然會得出這兩種結論；69.but they are both fal conclusions.
可是，這兩個結論都錯了。
70.Why?
为什么呢？
71.Becau God accomplishes all things according
to the counl of His will.
因为神隨著祂自己的意思行作萬事；
worldheritage72.My listening friends, I want you to ask
yourlves two questions.
親愛的朋友，請你捫心自問下面這兩個問
題：
73.Question number one:
第一個問題是：
74.is it okay to be baffled when you e God does
things that you do not understand?
gwd當我們不明白神为什么要做某些事的時候，
我們會感到困惑嗎？
75.Yes, becau, as human beings, we do not
know the reason for everything that God does.
是的，人有局限性，我們不可能理解神做每
件事的理由。
76.God is not accountable to us;
神不需要向我們交代；
77.and we have no right to demand that God
explain everything to us.
我們也無權要求神把一切都解釋給我們聽。
78.Listen to what He said to us in Isaiah 55:8 and
9.
請聽神在以賽亞書55章8到9節裡所說的
話：
79.“My thoughts are not your thoughts.
“耶和華說：我的意念，非同你們的意念，80.As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are
My thoughts than yours.”
天怎樣高過地，照樣，我的意念，高過你們
的意念。“
81.Listen to what Mos said in Deuteronomy
29:29.
摩西在申命記29章29節說：
82.“The cret things belong to the Lord our God,
but tho things which He revealed belongs to
us that we may obey His law.”
“隱秘的事，是屬耶和華我們神的；唯有明
顯的事，是永遠屬我們和我們子孫的，好叫
我們遵行這律法上的一切話。“
83.There are veral things that the sovereign God
revealed to us and wanted us to know about
Himlf;
掌權的神，只對我們顯明了祂自己的一部
分；
84.but He has not revealed everything.
神沒有讓我們知道祂的全部。
85.The cond question is this:
第二個問題是：
86.does the sovereignty of God mean that we
cannot know God intimately?
神的威嚴和權能會不會使我們不能和祂保持
親密的關係呢？
87.The answer is absolutely not;
絕非如此；
88.and that’s what Christianity is all about.
這就是基督教的獨特之處。
89.God fully revealed Himlf in Jesus Christ.
神通過耶穌基督，充份彰顯了祂的神性。90.God has given us all the information that we
need to have in order to make rational decisions.
神也給予我們足夠的資料，使我們可以憑理
性作出抉擇。
91.What does God want us to know about Him?
神要我們知道些什么呢？
92.God wants us to know that He loves to save
professing sinners.
神要我們知道，祂樂意拯救罪人。
93.God wants us to know that He spent many
centuries preparing the world for the coming of
His Son.
神要我們知道，祂用了很長的時間預備祂兒
子的降生。
94.God wants us to know that, exactly according
to His schedule, His Son came into the world.
神要我們知道，按著祂所定的時間，神的兒
子準時降生在世上。
95.God wants us to know that tho who have
received the gift of salvation should share it
rouwith others.
神要我們知道，我們不僅要接受救恩，還要
把這恩典與他人分享。
96.God wants us to know that, by dying on the
cross, His Son satisfied His justice by paying
the penalty of our sin.
神要我們知道，藉著耶穌在十字架上的流血
贖罪，滿足了神對公義的要求。97.God wants us to know that His Son was
resurrected from the dead on the third day to
assure us of our own resurrection.
神要我們知道，神的兒子死后三天復活，從
而保證了我們也要與祂一同復活。
98.God wants us to know that His Son is now
exalted on the throne of the univer;
神要我們知道，神的兒子現今被高舉，超過
萬有。
99.and that, from His throne, His Son invites
sinners to come to Him;
因此，神的兒子邀請所有的罪人，都來到祂
的寶座前；
100.and, when they come to Him, He lovingly leads them throughout their lives;
凡願意信靠祂的人，祂慈愛的雙手要牽引他
們走過人生的每一步。
101.and, finally, He brings them home to Himlf in Heaven;
而且至終，主耶穌要帶領他們回天家；102.but what does the sovereign God want His children to know?
可是，萬有之主要祂的兒女明白些什么呢？103.What does the sovereign God want tho who have responded and accepted His invitation to
know?
神要向已經相信祂、接受祂为生命救主的人
顯明哪些心意呢？
104.He wants them to know that, becau He is sovereign and in control,
祂要我們知道：因为祂掌管一切，
105.all things work together for good for tho who love Him and are called according to His
purpo.
萬事都互相效力，叫愛神的人得益處，就是
按祂旨意被召的人。
106.God wants them to know that He wants all His children to be conformed to the image of His
Son.
神要我們明白，神喜悅祂的兒女都效法主耶
穌基督。
107.God wants them to know that we should live this life without fear of the future, becau God
controls it.
神要我們曉得，我們不必为前途感到懼怕，
因为祂掌管明天。
108.God wants His children to know that they should live this life without anxiety and worry,
becau He controls their circumstances.
神要祂的兒女知道，我們應該活得無憂無
慮，因为祂掌管環境。
109.God wants His children to know that they should live this life, trusting in His provision;
神要祂的兒女知道，我們應該相信天父的供
mbook應，好好活著；
110.that they should live this life, accepting His Word as the truth,
我們應當相信，神的話就是真理，
111.believing His promis and obeying His commands;
我們應當信靠祂的應許，並順服祂的命令；112.that they should be diligent and hardworking for His Kingdom.
並且要慇懃地为主做工。
113.God wants His children to know that His everlasting arms are underneath.
landmark神要我們知道，祂永遠的膀臂要托住祂的兒
女。
114.God wants His children to know that He is our Security,
神要我們明白，祂是我們的保障，
115.and, that He, the Creator of the world, never gets tired or grows weary;
創造天地的主必不困倦，也不疲乏﹔116.that He, the sovereign Lord, is in control of your job, your home, your children, and every
breath.
全能的主掌管你的工作、家庭、兒女和你的
生命。
117.The sovereign God wants His children to know that, no matter how impossible the dream,
全能的神要祂的兒女知道，無論夢想是多么
不可能實現，
< matter how difficult the task,
無論問題是多么艱巨，
< matter how fierce the opposition,
無論反對勢力是多么強大，
1st< matter how ferocious the enemy,
無論仇敵是多么凶狠，
< matter how bleak things may look,
無論前景是多么黯淡，
< matter how hopeless it ems,
無論希望是多么渺茫，123.“…tho who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
“…但那等候耶和華的，必從新得力。124.They will soar on wings like eagles.
他們必如鷹展翅上騰，
125.They will run and not grow weary.
他們奔跑卻不困倦，
126.They will walk and not be faint.”
行走卻不疲乏。”
127.The sovereignty of God tells His children that His grace is sufficient,
全能的神告訴祂的兒女，祂的恩典足夠，ardless of what happens.
不論何時何地。
129.The sovereignty of God tells His children, who are daily walking with Him and trusting in Him, that a mighty fortress is our God.
全能的神告訴祂的兒女，只要我們肯與神同
行並依靠祂，祂就要作我們堅固的保障。130.Finally, the sovereignty of God should tell His children that, “…if God is for us, who can be
against us?
最后一點，全能的神告訴祂的兒女，說：
“神若幫助我們，誰能敵擋我們呢？

139.In all the things, we are more than conquerors through Him Who loved us,
靠著愛我們的主，在這一切的事上，已經得
勝有餘了，
