Homework:
Read Baggio's Story and write a 500-800 word review(回顾，写评论), which should include an introduction, summary, critic, and recommendation(推荐，建议). The students need to take notes while reading and the notes should be about their opinion, reaction, and interpretation(翻译) of the story.
Evaluation:
5 points for the written language, including grammar, coherence(连贯性), organization ;
2 points for the note taking;
3 points for oral prentation(口头报告): bad on accuracy, fluency and clearness and timing( each student is suppod to speak at least 2 minutes).

Baggio's Story

I would like to be a philosopher(哲学家).
Well, anyone who has said the word 'Why' can argue that he is a philosopher, so I want to be more than that. I want to be remembered as a philosopher.
One day soon I will be dead. People will look back(回顾) at my life, and they might say I was a martial artist(武术家); for I have earned a venth dan black belt (in both karate(空手道) and judo（柔道）). They might say I was a musician; for I have compod （作曲）successful operas（歌剧） (in three different languages). They might say I was a footballer; for I ud to reprent（代表） Italy (and scored twenty-ven goals for my country during my career).
But above all（首先，最重要的）, they will say, he was a great philosopher.
The difference between a hobby and greatness is total immersion（专心）, to the sacrifice of all el. I must devote my entire life to this pursuit; I must give up absolutely everything for this cau.

It was late by then, and cold. I decided to forestall（预先阻止） the next part of my mission（任务） until the morning. So I wandered the streets, looking for a warm place to sleep for a few hours.

I walked up to the pile of my belongings. There were a few people staring at it as they pasd, mostly early morning joggers（慢跑者） and peripatetic tramps（漫游的人）.
To my surpri, not a single item was missing.

Ashamed as I am to admit it, （反应）my first reaction was to feel hurt that nobody had valued my posssions enough to claim（值得需要） them; but of cour I did not indulge（满足，沉溺） my misplaced（寄托错的） pride.
I waved down（挥手示意司机停下） a passing cyclist and asked him why he had not stopped to take something.
'This stuff（东西） is yours?' he asked.
'Not anymore,' I replied, 'I wish to give it all away. Would you like to take something? Perhaps this stylish（时髦的） Armani duffle coat硫化物（带有风帽的粗呢大衣）? It is a cold morning, after all.'
He looked at me, and then glanced all around him as if looking for a candid camera（快拍照相机）. 'No thanks,' he frowned（皱眉）, and cycled awaycost（骑车离开）.
I noticed a vagrant在线英文字典（流浪者）inspecting （检查）the pile of goods, and I approached him. 'Would you like some help carrying a few items away?' I asked.

'If you like,' I remarked, 'except that every item is free of charge（除去每个项目都是免费的）.'
