摘要：PURPOSE:To form a continuous coke layer in the central part of a blast furnace raw material layer and to improve the air permeability in the central part in the blast furnace and to operate the blast furnace under a stable furnace condition by providing a chute which accepts coke in the lower part of the large bell in the top part of the blast furnace and supplies the coke to the core part of the furnace. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical chute 20 having a coke accepting port 7 which is opened and clod by 180 deg. rotation of a half-split cylindrical cap 28 is installed below a large bell 3 in the top part of the blast furnace having the bell type raw material charger by inclining the chute in such a manner that its front end faces the core part of the furnace. After a raw material ore layer B is formed in the blast furnace by the operation of the large bell 3, the coke is in succession charged from the large bell and the coke layer A is formed on the ore layer B. The cap 28 of the coke accepting port 7 of the chute 10 is rotated to a lower side to charge a part of the coke into the chute 20 and thereafter, a stopper 29 of a sluice port 27 at the front end is opened to drop the coke in the chute 20 into the core part of the furnace, by which the furnace core coke layer A' is formed.
